Renovated and reopened in July 2015. With a half-open-air bath made of Japanese cypress.
We value the privacy of the couple, and this room is designed for modern convenience while retaining the Japanese character of a long-established ryokan and the Jinkyokaku character as a hideaway.
This room blends modern usability with Japanese style. The room is made of solid wood and is soft to the touch, with a view of the historic tiled roof and trees, and wild birds peeking out from between the trees.
The openwork of the interior windows is also delicate and roomy. The most attractive feature is the half-open-air bath made of Japanese cypress.
The baths are luxurious, using the spring water that is constantly bubbling up, and bathing in the sunlight that filters through the trees is a supreme experience.
It is a reborn healing form of your hidden inn “Jinmyo-kaku” where good old culture and modern convenience coexist.
